WHY:
PATCH OF THETA has previously clashed over 1200 metres with SKY HEART,
and PATCH OF THETA subsequently went on to beat CHEROKEE EXPRESS.
On this form line we assign SKY HEART to a higher Tier than CHEROKEE EXPRESS,
which once again confirms that Class 4 race performances can be used to derive advantage Tier evaluations for Class 3 races.
For the support legs, CHIU CHOW SPIRIT beat the Weak Tier runner LET’S DO IT earlier in the season,
but is now being overlooked simply because of its heavy defeat last start and the big weight it carries today.
STELLAR SWIFT has also finished close behind LET’S DO IT, but lacks Class 3 race experience,
so it is more suitable as a secondary support leg.
